We have been to 4 states so far. We started in Seattle, Washington and traveled to Mt. Rainier. After a day of hiking we spent the night at a hotel. Then we went to the Cascade Mountains and camped. Jennifer almost set the mountains on fire trying to light the campfire. The we drove to Crater Lake. It was so beautiful. I"ll send pictures later. Elizabeth pushed Jennifer in the lake. Then we drove on as far as Pocatello, Idaho. We spent the night and went to bed early so we could leave early in the morning. Today we made it to Yellowstone National Park. We saw waterfalls and geyers. Old Faithful was cool. Everything was so beautiful.
Cecilia i like your writing did Jennifer set the mountains in fire when you where in the cascade mountains.Did you laugh when Elizabeth puss Jennifer in the lake and did Elizabeth laugh too.

Rigoberto, traveling through the mountains is always awesome. Sometimes it's scary to be up so high, but when you look out and can see so far away it is unbelievable. I know you will enjoy the rest of your trip. I can't wait to hear about your next adventure.
Rigoberto, we dont need to know about your privacy
Elizabeth,Cecilla and I started in Seattle Washington and we saw Mount Rainier it was so wet. Then we went to Oregon and we got stuck in the Cascade Mountain and we played cards I won!. Good news Cecilia did not break her legs, they are just bused.
What a relief! I would have been so sad if you had to cancel your trip. Be careful!
After, pocatello we went to Wyoming and saw Yellowstone national park .....the water fall was beautiful . Then we saw Little Big Horn ....we saw the battle field ...it was so big and long .
I love Yellowstone. It is one of my favorite camping spots. You can see so many interesting animals there. My favorites are the Big Horn Sheep, Grizzly Bears, moose and my all time favorite, the gray wolf. I read a book about Little Big Horn. It is really a sad story. I have never been here but would love to go. I have read that the cemetery is amazing.
Today we went to the devil's tower and I was scared to go inside. I noticed some strange things like a rat, and it touched my knee. Gross gross gross!!. I saw a skeleton but it was missing it's arm.Hopefully I sleep well tonight . I noticed something red on a rock turns out I dropped my jelly.Tomorrow we're going to Mt .Rushmore!!!
Devil's Tower is truly a unique land form. Did you try to climb to the top? What did you see a skeleton of? I know you will enjoy seeing Mt. Rushmore. Its size is breathtaking.
yes I did try to climb to the top I almost slid off !!!!!!!! I was really scared.I wasn't able to make out the bones the head wasn't there either I hope it wasn't human.Mt.Rushmore was amazing.it was breathtaking.

Mesa Verde is a beautiful sight. I really enjoyed hiking and then view the entire region at sunset. All the different colors were amazing. Sante Fe is a fun city. Hope you have time to go to Traders Market.
Mesa Verde was a beautiful place to stay we got to see animals and we also got to play games .We where sleeping there then it was day light .then we leftMesa Verde. When we got to Santa Fe and we went to a Depot Diner to eat the food was okay we went to the park and played some games the night was relaxing and the sunset was amazing.Day light came the sun was shining very brightly.

i mean sounds cool
I love the interesting animals of Mesa Verde. Too bad so many of them are endangered due to their limited habits. The Mexican Spotted Owl was one of the animals I became interested, but I think Albert's Squirrels were might favorites with their shiny silver fur. I think the sunset of the southwestern states are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
I would love to go to Mesa Verde ...it sounds great!!!
My group and I went to Yellowstone yesterday and today we went to Little Big Horn. We went on a tour and we learned a lot of history . Then we went to Devils Towers and it was so beautiful. Elizabeth wanted to climb the tower.Jennifer and I yelled NOOOO!!!! We had so much fun but it was sad to leave .
Wow! You have seen some of the most magnificent places in the U. S. in just a few days. I love all the wonderful animals of Yellowstone. Be careful if you see a grizzly bear! My favorite is the Gray Wolf. I think they are such interesting creatures.
Wow, we are way ahead of Mesa Verde and we are in Santa Fe, the capital city of New Mexico. This trip is way better because of : NO trafic jam, NO bumpy roads and NO mad chikmunks. I say nothing is going to stop us from geting to Maine first.
We may look behind , but we're going to be at Maine first mark my words. We will be waiting at the finish line.
Sounds like you have had a great trip. I am so glad you have avoided more chipmunk adventures. I love traveling through the southwest region of the U. S. These states have such interesting histories combining Native American and Mexican cultures. The building and artwork are fabulous. I love the sunsets in Arizona. So many beautiful colors!

Today we made it to St. Joseph! We visited the Pony Express Museum. St. Joseph was the starting point for the Pony Express Riders. They delivered mail to the western states before the railroads were built. We also saw a movie at the historic Missouri Theater built in 1926.
When you think about the Pony Express, it was an amazing idea. Especially when you realize the young boys who made these trips had to outrun angry Indians, thieves, outlaws, and wild animals to reach the next post. They rode through some of the most rugged areas of the United States to deliver the mail.
Well, our trip was great!!!!!!!.We made it to Missouri,st Josef.Luckly, we escaped a angry bear and it looked like there where a bunch of little brats screaming like crazy ( that includes me ).Sadly, that cray cray bear knoked over our tent and it took more than an hour for Chamea & Tiffany to built it ):. Mrs.Rennick, if you had been there, you would have been sorry for us .P.S, i will have to say sorry because i builted a tipi made of marshmellows and that really got the bear to our campsite.
We are in Illinois in Illinois is a great place to go see the statue of Abraham lincon
Where you in Illinois? You can find lots of information about A. Lincoln in this state because this is where he lived most of his life. Do you know where he was born?

Today you should be at least half way on your journey! Keep up the good work. I look forward to reading about your adventures.
I learned that in independence hall is that construction of the Pennsylvania state house, which came to be known as independence hall, began in 1732.It was a symbol of the national to come.At the time it was the most ambitious public in building in the thirteen colonies.I wish you come with us at the independence hall,Pennsylvania we will pay for you to come to the trip.
You have learned a lot.
Today we went to Amana Colonies there were a lot of houses and fields . Did you know kids attended school 6 days a week till the age 14.Even if we don't reach Maine on time the journey was fun!! =)

We are still in Tippecanoe we found out that the battle of Tippecanoe in which guvnor William Henry defined the Indian Confederacy of Tecumseh occurred near the south Bank of the river near modern Lafayette .
Today we are stuck in Hannibal, when we have to be in independence hall.Well, we got admit, this place is cool and filed with a bunch of people.Well, if you call a bunch a little bit of people, then you should have seen the population in 1830 because there where only 30 in the population. How small !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we hung out in Tippecanoe. We went hiking the area. We saw the battlegrounds where the US Army fought the Indians. The army won and the land was protected for the settlers.

Today we went to Salem MA it's weird that in the 1692 the people there believed that there were witches were there.
Today we went to the Statue of Liberty I learned that the Statue of Liberty is important because it was a gift of friendship from France to the United States. And because it commemorates the centennial of the signing of the United States of Declaration of independence.

Its been a long journey traveling across the U.S.A all the things i learnd and ill tell you 3 of those things 1.Death Valley:its a desert and is the hottest place on earth 2.St Joseph:its a city and the country seat of buchanan Country 3.Statue of Liberty:its a statue that stands for liberty given to us by France.those are the 3 best things ive learned on this trip!
Today we finally made it to Maine! Yep, we finally made it across the U.S.A. It has been so much fun. We saw a lot of different cities. We saw the Statue of Liberty in New York. We also visited Death Valley and Tippecanoe. Santa Fe was beautiful and the Grand Canyon was wonderful. It had so much space! We saw the Levi Coffin House in Falton City.
